Storfjord Hotel - Skodje

We stayed at this luxury hotel for a weekend and it was an exceptional experience. the exclusive amenities fulfilled all our luxurious needs, from the spa and wellness center to the sun terrace overlooking the stunning scenery. the staff was friendly and provided excellent service, and the food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations.

The only minor issue we encountered was the location, as it was difficult to reach the hotel by public transportation. this was easily solved by renting a car, and the location advantages of being in the countryside with access to hiking and water activities made up for it.

I had an amazing stay in this hotel. The location on the hill overlooking the fjord and surrounded by nature is fine. The hotel facilities are great, with a wonderful wooden decoration and an adorable outside sitting area. The cleanliness is perfect and the staff is friendly and cooperative. I also loved the free car parking and the fact that the hotel has very good Wifi.

This hotel is a great retreat for a quiet escape. the location is serene with beautiful forest views and easy access back to the bus station. the staff went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and offer bespoke food options to cater to personal needs. the rooms were charmingly decorated with traditional Norwegian style and had plenty of natural light.

Guests reported that the upstairs noise from other rooms can be heard in some of the ground-floor rooms, which could be disturbing to light sleepers.

The hotel was at a great location, with easy access to the main road and close to the airport. The room was comfortable and equipped with modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi. I also loved the fact that they provided complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was delicious and had a good variety of options.

The noise from the adjacent rooms was quite disturbing. The walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors talking and moving around, causing me trouble to get a good night's sleep.

Beautiful Nature & Friendly Staff the location was perfect for a city break, surrounded by stunning fjords and lush forest. the staff was extremely friendly and always smiling, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We appreciated the attention to detail, like the warm welcome and the extra care the cook took to make sure we got the best dishes from their menu. the rooms were cozy and comfy, with everything we needed.

Noisy & Unprofessional Unfortunately, the sound of cars on the nearby road was quite disturbing, especially at night when we were trying to sleep. We were disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown by some of the staff members, who seemed inexperienced.
